Luiz Felipe Campos

Luiz Felipe Campos is currently the Gerente de Tech at Edify Education. Luiz was promoted to this position in November of 2019 and has been actively working on creating the Spot Labs and transitioning to an agile culture within the company. Additionally, they are responsible for hiring engineers, designers, and SMs, as well as aligning new projects with scrum/kanban.

Prior to their current role, Campos served as the Coordenador de sistemas at Spot Educação from November 2018 to November 2019. In this role, they were responsible for system development and maintenance, project management, budgeting, roadmap creation, and stakeholder communication. Luiz also oversaw both waterfall and agile projects in areas such as ecommerce, educational platforms, WordPress sites, and CRM.

Before joining Spot Educação, Campos worked as the Coordenador de Tecnologia da Informação at Sá Cavalcante from June 2015 to November 2018. In this role, they were responsible for managing the company's technology needs and ensuring that all systems were up to date. Luiz also created and implemented various process improvements during their time with the company.

Campos began their career as an Analista de sistemas at Akta Consultoria in November 2006. In this role, they were responsible for developing custom software solutions for clients and providing support during the implementation process. Luiz quickly rose through the ranks at Akta Consultoria and was promoted to Analista de sistemas de negócios in April 2012. In this role, they were responsible for leading a team of analysts and overseeing all business system projects.

Luiz Felipe Campos has a specialization in Systems Analysis and Design from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, an MBA in Governance, Projects and IT Services from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, a degree in Information Technology Management from Universidade Estácio de Sá, and a degree in Geography from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. Luiz also has a professional certificate in Digital Transformation from MIT Professional Education.

Luiz Felipe Campos reports to Gilson Cavalcanti, CTO. They work with Jandui Jorge - Head de Product Design, André Tenório - Head de Data & Analytics, and Jonathan Reis - Head Plataforma.
