Gary B. Smith is a PHD student at the Edinburgh Centre for Robotics since September 2019 and the Chief Technology Officer of Student+ from September 2019 to March 2023, a startup Gary B. co-founded. Prior to their current roles, Gary B. worked as a research intern at the National Institute of Informatics and as a part-time intern translator and researcher at Beijing Rare Advertisement Co.,Ltd / Sheen Co.,Ltd. Gary holds a Bachelor's degree in Logic from Nankai University and has pursued further education in Computer Science, Mind, Language and Embodied Cognition, and Robotics and Autonomous Systems.
