Satrajit Basu

Satrajit Basu is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in consulting and sector management, currently serving as Principal Consultant at Edison Consulting Group since May 2024. Prior experience includes a role as Programme Manager for the Advanced Manufacturing Industry Transformation Programme at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment from February 2020 to May 2024, where Satrajit led initiatives to transform New Zealand's advanced manufacturing sector through collaboration among government, industry, and Māori. Prior to this, Satrajit held various positions at KPMG New Zealand and KPMG India, focusing on corporate finance and strategy advisory, respectively, and began a career at Ernst and Young and Torrent Power in project and policy advisory roles. Satrajit holds an MBA in Power Management from the National Power Training Institute and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Madras.
