Nino Japaridze

Vice President at Edison Research

Nino Japaridze has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Nino began their career as a Program Manager at the Open Media Research Institute in 1995. Later, they served as the Eurasia Regional Research Director at the InterMedia Survey Institute from 2000 to 2006. Japaridze then worked as a Guest Speaker at the National Endowment for Democracy in 2011 and as a Consultant for the European Commission's Caucasus Connect Project in 2013. From 2014 to 2015, they held advisory roles at Transparency International and Freedom House. In 2013, they also became a Senior Fellow at the Foreign Policy Research Institute and a Lecturer at The George Washington University, where they taught until 2017. Their most recent positions include Vice President roles at Ipsos in North America from 2016 to 2017 and at Edison Research starting in 2017.

Nino Japaridze began their education in 1989 at Ivane Javahišvilis Sakhelobis Tbilisis Sakhelmtsipo Universiteti, where they pursued an undergraduate degree in Western European Languages and Literature until 1991. Following this, they attended Wheaton College from 1991 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Economics. Continuing their academic journey, Nino pursued a Master of Arts degree in Political Science at The George Washington University from 1994 to 1998. Lastly, they attended the University of Oxford from 2006 to 2012, where they obtained a DPhil in Politics.
