Carlo Giordano

Carlo Giordano has an extensive work experience in the energy industry. Carlo currently serves as the Head of Business Unit Energy Management at Edison SpA since December 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Technical Director at the same company from April 2020 to November 2021. In 2021, they also became the Chief Executive Officer of Edison International Shareholdings S.p.A.

Before joining Edison SpA, Giordano worked at Edison Energy Solutions - EDF Fenice as the Large Industry Market Director from October 2016 to April 2020. Carlo also held various roles at Edison Trading S.p.A., including Head of Origination from January 2011 to September 2016, and Head of Power Origination Central & Eastern Europe from February 2008 to January 2011.

Carlo'searlier experiences include working at Edison Energia S.p.A as the Senior Start Up Manager for the new liberalized market from February 2003 to June 2004, and as the Key Account Manager from December 2000 to January 2003.

Giordano began their career at Alpenergie Italia S.p.A as the Start Up Manager from June 1999 to December 2000. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Manager at Shell Gas Italia from January 1996 to June 1999.
