Giuseppe Violo

Giuseppe Violo is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project acquisition and asset development within the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Head of Project Acquisition for Solar and Wind Portfolio Development at Edison SpA since February 2011. Giuseppe's role includes identifying new development opportunities and structuring business models for initiatives. Previously, Giuseppe held the position of Organization Analyst, focusing on project transformation management using various methodological approaches. Additionally, Giuseppe founded GIAS Ventures in December 2019. Giuseppe's earlier experience includes working as an HR Controller at McDonald's Italy, where responsibilities involved budgeting and workforce cost control. Giuseppe holds an MBA from MIP Politecnico di Milano, a Corporate Finance valuation program from London Business School, and a degree in Public Management from Università degli Studi di Milano. Areas of expertise encompass credit management, sales and CRM, and support functions across finance, HR, procurement, and legal communications.
