Alfred Younan

VP Sales and International Markets at Edita Food Industries

Alfred Younan has extensive work experience in the food and beverage industry. Alfred started their career in 1992 as a Market Research Supervisor at Mansour Group, and later worked at Philip Morris as a Horn of Africa Representative. In 1996, they joined Mansour Group again as the Marketing & Sourcing General Manager. Alfred then moved to Heineken, where they served as the National Sales and Distribution Director from 2000 to 2002. From 2002 to 2005, they worked at Hero as the Business Development and Export Director, responsible for identifying distributors and developing business plans. Alfred joined Edita Food Industries in 2002 as the National Sales Manager, and later became the Vice President of Sales & International Business. In this role, they oversaw the production and sales of cakes, confectionery, and snacks, generating significant revenues and trading in both the London and Egyptian stock exchanges.

Alfred Younan obtained a Bsc in Commerce with a major in accounting from Alexandria University in the years 1988 to 1992. Alfred also received a Diploma in International Marketing from INSEAD in 1996. Additionally, they completed an Executive Program in the Kellogg-Executive development program at Southwestern Illinois College in 2009. Furthermore, they obtained a certification as a Certified Board Member - Director in Corporate Governance from RiskMetrics Group / Egyptian Institute Of Directors in 2008. Alfred also attended Saint Marc from 1973 to 1988, where they earned a BS degree in Science.
