Alexis Benedis

Alexis Benedis is an experienced scientist with a strong background in chemistry and research. Currently serving as an Associate Scientist I at Editas Medicine since August 2022, Alexis previously held the position of Senior Research Associate at the University of Colorado Denver from February 2021 to August 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Malt & Barley Scientist at MillerCoors, a QA Lab Technician at Niagara Bottling, and a Research Lab Assistant at the Ohio University Biochemistry Department. Additionally, Alexis completed an R&D Chemistry internship at Sherwin-Williams. Education includes a Master of Science in Chemistry from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Ohio University.
