Mae Mendoza

Mae Mendoza is a skilled content designer and educational specialist with extensive experience in developing and reviewing instructional materials across various levels. Currently serving as Content Designer II at Edmentum since January 2022, Mae focuses on creating and refining Social Studies and History courses for middle and high school while ensuring alignment with appropriate language levels. In addition, Mae works as a Senior Content Specialist and Subject Matter Expert on an independent contractor basis, where recent projects involve generating teacher support materials and conducting editorial reviews for K-12 English Language Arts and Social Studies content. Previous roles include Instructional Designer I at Apex Learning and Contract Curriculum Specialist at Brightmont Academy, where Mae contributed to the development of Common Core-aligned curricula and taught various humanities courses. Mae holds both a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Western Washington University.
