Shelley Grollmuss

Shelley Grollmuss, CDME, is a seasoned professional in the tourism and hospitality industry with extensive experience in project management and destination development. Currently serving as a Project Management Consultant at Explore Edmonton Corporation since February 2022, Shelley provides strategic leadership for the implementation of Edmonton's 10-Year Tourism Master Plan while offering project management support to the TMP task force and Destination Development team. Previously, Shelley held key positions at Travel Alberta, including Vice President of Destination Development and Executive Director for North America, where strategic planning and marketing initiatives were core responsibilities. Shelley began career at Banff Rocky Mountain Resort as Director of Sales & Marketing and also served as Sales Manager at Holiday Inn, as well as Conference Assistant at the Tourism Industry Association of Alberta. Educational qualifications include a Certified Destination Management Executive from Destinations International and several executive training certificates from institutions such as Smith School of Business at Queen's University and the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
