Viju Vasudevan

Viju Vasudevan has over two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, currently serving as the Director of Operations at the Edmonton Convention Centre with Explore Edmonton Corporation since October 2019. Viju is responsible for annual business plan preparation and monthly financial forecasts across various service areas. Prior to this role, Viju held the position of Director of Food & Beverage at Edmonton EXPO Centre, where responsibilities included revenue growth and budget management. Previous experience includes leadership roles at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, and Taj Hotels, focusing on food and beverage operations and management training. Viju holds a Bachelor's Degree in Food and Beverage Operations from the Indian Institute of Hotel Management and additional certifications from MacEwan University, the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, and Cornell University.
