Dan Alfano

Dan Alfano is an experienced leader in educational programming and digital innovation, currently serving as Manager of Makerspace and Digital Literacy Initiatives at Edmonton Public Library since December 2019. With a strong background in science education and program management, Dan's previous roles at TELUS World of Science - Edmonton included Director of Science Experience and Manager of Science Garage, where Dan spearheaded strategic initiatives and developed hands-on learning experiences in STEAM. Early career experiences range from a Youth Counselor with Norwegian Cruise Line to management positions at West 49. Dan holds a Bachelor of Education in Elementary Education from the University of Alberta.
