Thea La Grou is a seasoned leader and creative professional with extensive experience in promoting environmental and social change. Currently serving as the Managing Director of Films for the Planet since 2017, La Grou oversees a platform that inspires environmentally-conscious communities through curated films. As an Edmund Hillary Fellow since 2018, La Grou collaborates with entrepreneurs and changemakers in Aotearoa New Zealand. Contributions to the Charter for Compassion International since 2015 include film programming and community engagement initiatives. La Grou also manages The Twelfth Muse, a visual poetry project, and serves as the Founding Director of Compathos Foundation, producing media that inspires compassionate action. Previous roles include co-founding Millennia Media Inc., authoring "Voices of the Virtual World," and various speaking engagements at notable events. La Grou's educational background includes studies at Sonoma State University.
