Melissa Ashley

Vice Chair at eDoc Innovations

Melissa Ashley is the Vice Chair at eDoc Innovations. Prior to their current position, they served as an Assurance Manager at KPMG from January 1992 to December 1999. At KPMG, Melissa was responsible for researching and advising clients on technical accounting matters, planning and executing complex audits, and preparing in-depth presentations for client-side stakeholders. Melissa also represented the organization during recruiting and social functions, playing a role in talent acquisition efforts.

During their time at KPMG, Melissa participated in major client engagements, coordinating financial statement audits and special projects for organizations with assets up to $25.5B in the financial services industry, and delivering audit findings to Boards of Directors. Melissa also served as one of only three Columbus, Ohio office associates to develop and execute audit procedures, testing several life insurance companies’ compliance with the principles of the Insurance Marketplace Standards Association (IMSA).

Melissa’s experience and expertise in the financial services industry make their a valuable asset to eDoc Innovations. In their current role as Vice Chair, Melissa is responsible for leading the company’s strategic planning initiatives and overseeing all aspects of eDoc Innovations’ operations.

Melissa Ashley has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from The Ohio State University. Melissa also has a Minor in Computer Information Science. Melissa is certified by the Credit Union Executives Society (CUES) as a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Institute Designation. Melissa is also certified by Articulation by Meagan Buren as an Executive Communication & Public Speaking Coaching. Lastly, they are certified by the State of Ohio as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
