Sazali Baharom

Sazali Baharom has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Sazali currently holds the position of Head HRBP at EDOTCO Group, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they were the Head HRBP at TM ONE from 2018 to 2022. In 2016, they worked as the Director of Compensation & Benefits and Employee Digital Services at webe digital. From 2014 to 2016, Sazali served as the Head of Human Resources & Corporate Communications at Mesiniaga Berhad. Sazali also held positions at Maxis as a Manager in Government Affairs and Business Analyst Specialist from 2012 to 2014, and at Proton as the Manager of GROUP HR Technology in 2011. Sazali began their career at IBM in 1998, where they held various roles including STG-ISV Solutions Architect, STG Progammatic Resource Manager, and IT Specialist in different regions.

Sazali Baharom has a diverse education history. Sazali completed a Management Study program focused on Business Transformation at IMD from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, they participated in the Lead Excel And Deliver (LEAD) management program at Cranfield University from 2018 to 2019, specializing in Business Administration and Management. Sazali also holds a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) from The University of Queensland, which they obtained between 1993 and 1997.

Before pursuing higher education, Sazali completed their High School Certificate and SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia) at MRSM TAIPING with a focus on Pure Science.

In addition to their academic achievements, Sazali has obtained several certifications. Sazali received a certification in Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging from LinkedIn in November 2022. Sazali also completed a course on Power BI: Dashboards for Beginners through LinkedIn in the same month and year. Sazali holds the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM, which they obtained in December 2021. Further, they earned the Certified Professional in Requirement Engineering (CPRE) certification from IREB GmbH in December 2013.
