Alberto Guerra Santiago

Alberto Guerra Santiago has extensive work experience in the energy industry. Alberto currently serves as the Business Development Director at EDP Redes España since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Viesgo for five years, where they held the role of Director of Grid Operation & Maintenance. Before joining Viesgo, Alberto was the Head of Grid Operation at Viesgo for one year. Alberto also worked at E.ON España, where they had various roles, including Head of Development of Technology Projects and Head of Strategic Regulation - Power and Gas. Alberto began their career as a Senior Analyst in Regulatory Affairs and Planning at E.ON España and also worked as a Project Engineer in Power Generation at Soluziona.

Alberto Guerra Santiago pursued their undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 1998 to 2004. In 2008, they attended the IE Business School, where they earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2009. In 2018, Alberto completed the Digital Business Executive Program at ISDI and the PDD program at Esade. Alberto also obtained a certification in Fundamentos de Comunicaciones Ópticas from the Universitat Politècnica de València in 2018.
