Miguel Brito

Miguel Brito is an experienced R&D Engineer and Project Manager at EDP NEW, with a focus on coordinating EU projects, such as Smart2B, and managing robotized O&M demonstrations for the ATLANTIS project in Windfloat Atlantic. Previously, Miguel held various trainee positions within EDP, including developing a Python code for predicting battery degradation in wind-farm scenarios. Prior to joining EDP, Miguel was the Leader of Mechanical Systems at Técnico Solar Boat, where responsibilities included task delegation, deadline management, and interdepartmental communication. Miguel holds an educational background from Instituto Superior Técnico, having completed studies there from September 2015 to April 2021.
