Alessandro Dionisi

Alessandro Dionisi has a diverse and extensive work experience. Alessandro started their career as a Java Developer at Beweb S.r.l. in 2004 and then moved on to work as a Computer Science researcher at the University of Rome "La Sapienza" from 2005 to 2008.

In 2008, they joined IDS S.p.A. as a Development Lead, where they designed and developed the PLX enterprise application for aeronautical information regulators. Alessandro also worked on integrating the system with ADQ processes and specifications.

From 2014 to 2016, Alessandro worked as a Software Development Engineer at Amadeus IT Group, where they were responsible for delivering technologies and technical solutions to airline e-Commerce portals implementation teams. Alessandro played a key role in continuous integration, development environment improvement, and the implementation of a reusable framework for the airline's business object model.

In 2016, they joined Voverc as a Technical Project Manager, where they introduced Agile methodologies, implemented CI/CD pipelines, transformed the architecture to microservices, and set up a monitoring and alerting platform.

Alessandro then became a Technical Lead at Voverc (now Voxloud) from January to June 2020 and continued in the same role at Voxloud from June 2020 to October 2021.

Since October 2021, Alessandro has been working at Entando Inc. as a Technical Lead. Alessandro leads the DevExp team responsible for creating an outstanding development experience through CLI tools for Entando platform developers.

Most recently, Alessandro has transitioned to eDreams ODIGEO as a Lead Engineer since March 2023.

Alessandro Dionisi holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Sapienza Università di Roma, earned from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Università degli studi Roma TRE from 2001 to 2004. Alessandro has additional certifications including being a speaker at the Codemotion Conference Milan 22, a Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in 2016, a Duolingo Proficiency Exam in English: Expert in 2014, and a Sun Java Certified Developer for Java 1.6 in 2010. Alessandro has also completed online courses such as JavaScript Road Trip Part 3 and Shaping up with Angular.js from Code School.
