Caroline Hay

Caroline Hay is a Senior Group Risk & Control Manager at Edrington, a position held since October 2021, where expertise in risk management and operational control effectiveness is applied. Prior to Edrington, Caroline served as a University Lecturer in Accounting at UWS School of Business and Enterprise and University of the West of Scotland from June 2018 to October 2021. Previous experience includes a significant role as Financial Controls Manager for Downstream Europe at Shell, focused on maintaining a robust risk framework and leading financial governance initiatives, and as Governance Risk and Assurance Manager at Shell Shared Service Centre Glasgow. Caroline began the career as a Senior Associate at PwC. Educational qualifications include Fellowship status with ACCA and the UK Higher Education Academy, along with a degree in Hons BACC Accountancy from the University of the West of Scotland.
