Stephen Silvester

Stephen Silvester is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in computational fluid dynamics and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as UK Technical Director and Lead Application Engineer at EDRMedeso Simulation since July 2019, Stephen previously held key roles at ANSYS, Inc. from August 2007 to July 2019, including Lead Consultant Engineer and Business Development Manager, where responsibilities encompassed consulting project leadership and business development for training services in Europe. Stephen's early career includes research as a Research Fellow at The University of Nottingham and a Mechanical Engineer role at BP Chemicals. Stephen earned a Ph.D. in Computational Fluid Dynamics from the University of Nottingham and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nottingham Trent University.
