Tarja Immonen-Harmaala

Tarja Immonen-Harmaala has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Tarja currently holds the role of Chief People Officer at EDRMedeso Simulation since January 2022. Prior to this, they were the Head of Talent at the same company from September 2019 to January 2022.

Before joining EDRMedeso Simulation, Tarja worked at Konecranes, where they held multiple roles. Tarja was the Manager of Global Leadership Development from April 2018 to August 2019. From November 2010 to March 2018, they served as the Corporate Head of Leadership Development. Tarja also worked as the Manager of Global HRD from April 2008 to October 2010.

Prior to their tenure at Konecranes, Tarja Immonen-Harmaala worked at Teknologiakeskus Innopark Oy - Technology Centre Innopark ltd., where they held the position of Training Manager & Program Coordinator from October 2004 to March 2008. Tarja also worked as a Training Designer/Consultant at HAMK from May 2003 to October 2004.

Tarja Immonen-Harmaala has also had experience as a Managing Director/Entrepreneur at Tmi Tarja Immonen from September 1991 to August 1999. Tarja began their career as a Marketing Assistant at Mustilan Kotikunnassäätiö from May 1990 to September 1991 and as a Sales Negotiator at Ruusutarhat Arvo Suutari Oy from June 1989 to May 1990.

Tarja Immonen-Harmaala has various educational experiences. In 1989, they obtained a Diploma in Business Administration, with a specialization in Marketing, from the Kouvola Institute of Commerce and Foreign Trade. Later, they pursued higher education at HAMK University of Applied Sciences, where they completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in International Business in 2002. In 2008, Tarja Immonen-Harmaala acquired a Specialist Qualification in Management, known as Johtamisen Erikoisammattitutkinto, from Rastor College.
