Jason Dake

Director Of Education at Ford House

Jason Dake has a strong background in education and program development. Jason is currently working as the Director of Education at Ford House, where they oversee all aspects of educational programming, manages staff, and develops a program of arts, humanities, and environmental education. Prior to this, Jason worked as the Deputy Director of Museum Programs and Learning at Dennos Museum Center, where they curated exhibitions and programs, wrote grants, and designed educational programming for various groups. Jason also served as the Curator of Education at the same institution, where they were responsible for docent recruitment, curriculum development, and marketing for school programs. Jason's earlier experience includes working as an Art Education Coordinator at Flint Institute of Arts and as a Program Assistant at AmeriCorps.

Jason Dake completed their Bachelor of Science in Education, with a focus on Art and History, from Central Michigan University, from 1999 to 2004. Later, from 2010 to 2011, they pursued a Master of Arts in Arts Administration, specializing in Community Engagement and Technology at the University of Michigan-Flint.
