Szymon Sokolowski

Szymon Sokolowski is a skilled marine professional with extensive experience in dynamic positioning and offshore operations. Currently serving as Chief Mate and SDPO at EDT Offshore since March 2024, Szymon Sokolowski has been involved in vessel preparation and inspection for MPSV projects in the Mediterranean Sea. Prior roles include significant positions at Gardline Limited (November 2017 - January 2024), focusing on geotechnical drilling operations for major clients, and HydroDive Group (October 2018 - December 2018), where underwater construction and repair projects were executed. Szymon Sokolowski has also worked with several offshore supply and support companies, managing various roles from 2nd Mate to Mate/SDPO across multiple vessels and projects. Educational qualifications include degrees from Politechnika Morska w Szczecinie and Maritime Technical High School in Świnoujście.
