Prior to this role, Michelle was a Special Education Teacher at Newark Unified School District from August 2017 to June 2022. Before that, Michelle worked as a Special Education Paraeducator at Community Gatepath from May 2015 to August 2017 and as a Behavioral Therapist at the Center for Autism and Related Disorders, LLC. (CARD) from January 2014 to May 2015. Michelle holds a Master of Arts in Education from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University-Sacramento.
