Heather Powell

Heather Powell has a diverse range of work experience in the education and healthcare sectors. Heather started their career at Shadyside Hospital as a Histology Technician, where they prepared tissue samples for diagnosis. Heather then worked as a Director of Histology at Western School of Health and Business, managing the department's operations and overseeing teachers. Heather also served as the Director of General Sciences at the same institution, creating syllabi and lesson plans for science classes. Heather further expanded their teaching experience as a Patient Care Instructor and Medical Assistant Instructor at Everest Institute. Heather later joined Sanfordbrown Institute and Sanford-Brown Institute as a Faculty Coordinator/Trainer/Instructor and a General Education Instructor, respectively. Heather continued their career at ITT Technical Institute as a Dean and District Dean. Currently, they hold the position of Campus President at Education Affiliates, Allstate Career School.

Heather Powell holds a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction of Adult Learners from Point Park University. Heather also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Point Park College. In addition, they hold a certification in CPR from the National Safety Council.
