Eddie Dutton

Eddie Dutton currently serves as an Emergency Manager for Education at Education Cannot Wait (ECW) since September 2019. Prior experience includes various consultancy roles in education for organizations such as UNESCO, UNICEF, and NRC in multiple regions including Syria, Bangladesh, and Beirut from August 2018 to August 2019. Eddie held the position of Education Specialist and Head of Section in UNICEF's Cox's Bazar office, focusing on the Rohingya refugee response from February to August 2018. Prior to UNICEF, Eddie worked at UNESCO from June 2010 to February 2018 in various capacities related to education in emergencies and project management. Earlier career roles include Program Coordinator for Middle East Programs at the Department of State and Program Assistant at the Council of American Overseas Research Centers. Eddie's educational background includes a Master's in International Education from The George Washington University, a degree from the University of Oxford in Forced Migration, and a Bachelor's in Geography and History from Texas A&M University.
