Zeke Perez has extensive experience in policy analysis and public affairs, currently serving as Assistant Director at the Education Commission of the States since September 2014, after holding positions as Senior Policy Analyst, Policy Analyst, and Policy Researcher. Previously, Zeke worked as a Government Affairs Fellow at the National Endowment for Financial Education and completed internships with the City and County of Denver, DSST Public Schools, and the Colorado State Legislature, aiding legislators during multiple sessions. Zeke's early career includes a governmental role at the Denver Metro Association of Realtors and an internship with ABC News during the 2008 Democratic National Convention. Zeke earned a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy, Political Science, and International Studies from the University of Denver, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from the University of Wollongong.
