Katya Nekrasova

Katya Nekrasova is a Senior Education Designer at Education Design Lab. Katya has over 18 years of experience in the field of education, workforce development, and economic development.

Katya began their career as a Seminar Coordinator at Joliet Junior College in 2001. In 2003, they became a Senior Program Coordinator at the University of Illinois Chicago. From 2007 to 2008, they served as Assistant Director at Trinity Washington University.

In 2008, Katya joined the American Association of Community Colleges as Senior Manager of Workforce and Economic Development. In this role, they oversaw the development and implementation of workforce development initiatives across the country.

In 2021, Katya joined Education Design Lab as a Senior Education Designer. In this role, they are responsible for designing and developing educational programs that meet the needs of today's learners.

Katya Nekrasova completed their Master of Arts in Educational Management from American University. Katya also holds a certificate in Project Management from Georgetown University. Katya has worked extensively in the field of education, both in the United States and abroad. Katya is currently the Director of the Edmund S. Muskie Graduate Fellowship Program.
