Burt Granofsky

Burt Granofsky is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education, writing, and photography. As a Senior Writer at the Education Development Center since October 2003, Burt leads efforts to highlight the organization's dedication to enhancing health, education, and economic opportunity globally. Previous roles include designing online curriculum as a Curriculum Specialist and serving as a 5th Grade teacher at The Learning Project Elementary School. In addition to educational work, Burt operates a freelance photography business focused on sports across New England and is currently the Head Coach for ultimate frisbee programs for youth in Newton. Burt holds an Ed.M in Learning and Teaching from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a BA in Political Science from Haverford College.
