Heidi Larson has a diverse work experience. Heidi started their career in 1996 as a contractor, where they designed websites and online courses for small businesses in California. Heidi also worked as an Education Software Reviewer for Training Media Review from 2002 to 2005. From 1999 to 2001, they served as an Education Technology Consultant for American River College, where they traveled across the state delivering workshops on developing online courses. Larson then joined the Education Development Center in 2004 as a Project Director. Since 2012, they have been working at the Harvard Graduate School of Education as a Graduate Teaching Fellow and Class Project Mentor, focusing on expanding learning boundaries for adult ESL students and enhancing the Boston Women's Heritage Trail with Augmented Reality.
Heidi Larson has a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Technology, Innovation, and Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education, which they obtained from 2003 to 2004. Heidi also holds a Certificate in Web Technologies from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, completed in 2002. Additionally, Heidi has a Bachelor's degree from Colby College, where they majored in Government and French. Heidi also obtained a Certificate in Online Facilitation from Cerro Coso Community College.
