Naomi Hupert

Naomi Hupert has extensive work experience in the field of education and research. Naomi worked at the Education Development Center (EDC) as the Director and Senior Research Scientist, starting in 1993. Prior to that, they worked at the Bank Street College of Education as a Researcher, starting in 1987 and ending in 1993.

Naomi Hupert holds a Master of Science in Education (MS Ed.) with a specialization in literacy and language-related learning disabilities, obtained from Bank Street College of Education from 1989 to 1992. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in British and American Literature from Scripps College, where they studied from 1981 to 1985. Naomi Hupert also has a certification in Understanding & Mitigating Implicit Bias from EDC (Education Development Center), which was obtained in 2022.
