Michael Hatch

Michael Hatch is an experienced educator and project manager with a diverse professional background. Currently serving as a second-grade math teacher at Achieve Academy through Education for Change Public Schools, Michael has also worked as a long-term substitute teacher across various institutions. Prior experience includes a role as an Interpretive Park Ranger with the National Park Service, focusing on visitor education at Grand Teton National Park, and a position as a Geographic Information Systems Analyst at UC San Diego. Michael has also contributed to digital marketing and project management in previous roles, including as a Technical Project Manager at Thunder Studios, and as a Line Producer for National Banana, where rapid career advancement occurred under noted mentorship. Michael holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from UC San Diego, with a focus on Peace & Security, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from UC Berkeley.
