Sundar Chari

Sundar Chari has extensive work experience in the field of education and technology. Sundar served as the Chief Strategy Officer and Director of Innovation & Technology at Education for Change Public Schools from 2013 to the present. Prior to that, they held various roles at Chicago Public Schools, including Senior Policy Consultant, Manager of New Initiatives, Director of Technology - Additional Learning Opportunities, Performance Management Consultant, and Project Manager from 2007 to 2013. Before joining Chicago Public Schools, Chari worked as an Evaluation Specialist (part-time) at UCOP from 2005 to 2007. Sundar began their career as a Research Associate at Cornerstone Research from 2001 to 2004.

Sundar Chari completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics and Statistics from the University of California, Berkeley in the period between 1996 and 2000. Sundar further pursued their education at the same university and obtained a Master of Public Policy degree from 2005 to 2007. In addition to their academic achievements, Sundar Chari also obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in June 2009.
