Lou Doyle is the Chief Executive Officer of Mesma, providing award-winning software and advisory services for various educational and regulatory bodies since January 2011. As a founder of The Quality Professionals Awards: For FE and Employability and Education Partnership North East, Lou Doyle actively promotes quality in education. Additional roles include Board Member at WISE ACADEMIES and North of Tyne Chair for the Strategic Development Network. Lou Doyle also serves as a Senior Strategic Advisor for the Department for Education, T Level Ambassador, and Employer Apprenticeship Ambassador for the North East Apprenticeship Ambassador Network. Previous experience includes directorship at Bright Blue Training and Advisory, an award-winning consultancy in education. Lou Doyle holds an MEd in Practitioner Enquiry (with Leadership) from Newcastle University and a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from Northumbria University, alongside a Certificate in Understanding Autism from Cache.

Education Partnership North East (EPNE) is a dynamic partnership between Sunderland College, Hartlepool Sixth Form and Northumberland College. We are the largest regional college group situated entirely in the North East of England. Our 6 main college campuses are situated in Ashington, Ponteland, Sunderland, Washington and Hartlepool. As well as two sixth forms and two centres for special educational needs and disability, we also have a land based college specialising in animal, veterinary, agriculture. horticulture and rural skills. Aside from this we provide vocational, technical and academic education across further education, higher education and apprenticeships.
