Kate Reddington

Head of Content Design at Education Perfect

Kate Reddington has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Kate started their career in 2008 as a Web Editor for SNAP! Magazine, where they managed written and creative contributions on the website, handled social media, and participated in office administration.

In 2012, Kate worked as part of the media team for BIS2, specializing in video animation and graphic design for print and web. Kate also managed content and social media platforms, focusing on data visualization and business intelligence.

From 2011 to 2015, Kate worked at ACG Yoobee School of Design, where they held various roles such as Curriculum Developer, Tutor, Project Manager, and Short Course Coordinator. Kate developed a vocational pathway course, coordinated custom short courses for corporate clients, and worked closely with teachers and students to develop STAR course curriculum.

Starting in 2015, Kate worked as a Literacy & Numeracy Facilitator at ACG Tertiary & Careers Group until 2017. Kate then joined Massey University as a Multimedia Developer from 2017 to 2018.

From 2010 to 2020, Kate pursued freelance and contract graphic design work. Kate took on diverse projects including learning resources, website design, web development, video content, publications, signage, and more.

In 2018, Kate joined the Commission for Financial Capability where they served as the Learning and Development Lead, Sorted Website Lead, and Learning Designer. Kate contributed to the development of learning resources and led website projects.

Currently, Kate is working at Education Perfect, where they started as a Design Lead in 2021 and is now the Head of Content Design. In their current role, they focus on strategic leadership, continuous learning, and design thinking to improve the quality and design of content.

Kate Reddington attended the University of Otago from 2004 to 2006, where they pursued a BA degree in Psychology, Design, and Media. Following this, they enrolled at ACG YOOBEE School of Design, where they obtained a Dip7 degree in Graphic Design.
