Leanne Vase is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and assessment. Currently a Teacher at the Toronto District School Board since September 2015 and a Literacy scorer for the Education Quality and Accountability Office since April 2014, Leanne effectively applies scoring rubrics to student assessments, enhancing performance through reliability and validity measures. Previous teaching roles include Occasional Teacher positions at both the Western Quebec School Board and the Ottawa Carleton District School Board, as well as an English Teacher at the International Language Academy of Canada. Leanne also taught Grade 2 at Al Fateh Primary School in Abu Dhabi and served as a Student Teacher in the Toronto Catholic District School Board.
