Lisa Maria

Lisa Maria, PMPⓇ, is a seasoned marketing project manager currently employed at Education Week since October 2021. Previously, Lisa Maria held various positions at YogaWorks, Inc. from September 2009 to October 2020, culminating as the National Director of Workshops & Continuing Education, where oversight was given to a department serving 72 locations and producing over 300 workshops annually. Additional roles included regional management and coordination in the same field. As the principal of Lisa Maria Yoga from May 2002 to May 2018, contributions included authoring the award-winning children's book "The Oprah Winfrey Story" and numerous articles for respected publications. Lisa Maria also served as the San Francisco Editor for Yogi Times from October 2007 to September 2009, managing content and editorial processes. Educationally, Lisa Maria holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Goucher College.
