Sarah Hanawald

Sarah Hanawald is an experienced educational leader with a strong background in technology integration and professional development. Currently serving as Senior Director for the Association for Academic Leaders and Senior Director for Professional Development and New Programs at One Schoolhouse since April 2020, Sarah has also held key roles such as Chief Executive Officer at One-to-One Institute and Executive Director of the Association of Technology Leaders in Independent Schools. In addition to leadership positions, Sarah has provided consulting services as a Senior Collaborator at Educational Collaborators since 2008. With a focus on enhancing teaching and learning through technology, Sarah's previous roles include Academic Dean at Cannon School and Dean of Teaching and Learning at Saint Mary's School. Sarah holds an AB from Duke University and an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from UNC-Greensboro.
