Deborah Brooks has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Deborah began their career as a Collection Supervisor at Southeast Bank N.A, where they managed a portfolio of $25 million and supervised a staff of 32. Deborah then worked at First Union National Bank as a Commercial Loan Recovery Officer, responsible for recovering a nine million-dollar loan portfolio. At FPL Federal Credit Union, they served as a Collections Supervisor, reducing delinquency rates in consumer and residential loan portfolios. Deborah then joined Power 1 Credit Union, now known as Power Financial Credit Union, as an Assistant Vice President of Loan Operations, where they managed lending operations and compliance. Deborah later became the Director of Loan Operations/Lending, overseeing daily operations and sales production. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Consumer Lending at Educational Systems Federal Credit Union, demonstrating their experience and expertise in the industry.
Deborah Brooks completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Organizational Leadership from Trinity International University-Florida from 2005 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained the following certifications: "Be the Manager People Won't Leave" from LinkedIn in February 2022, "Communicating with Emotional Intelligence" from LinkedIn in January 2022, "Six Sigma" from Aveta Business Institute in January 2016, "Nationwide Mortgage License System (NMLS)" from the Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS) in 2009, and "State of Florida Real Estate License" from the Department of Professional Regulations in 1991.
