Leah Ball Mussari is an experienced education specialist currently contributing to the Educational Theatre Association since January 2020, where focus lies on creating and curating educational resources for theatre educators and students. Prior to this role, Leah served as an advocacy and education associate at the Richard and Carole Cocks Art Museum at Miami University, leading marketing initiatives and developing outreach strategies to enhance student engagement. Additional experience includes internships at The Garage Group, where support was provided for innovation and strategy initiatives, and Creativity City, where personalized engagement strategies were developed. Leah also interned at the Educational Theatre Association and the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, gaining valuable insights into theatre education and administration. Leah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre/Arts Management & Entrepreneurship from Miami University.

The Educational Theatre Association (EdTA) is a national nonprofit organization with approximately 135,000 student and professional members. EdTA’s mission is shaping lives through theatre education by: honoring student achievement in theatre and enriching their theatre education experience; supporting teachers by providing professional development, networking opportunities, resources, and recognition; and influencing public opinion that theatre education is essential and builds life skills. EdTA operates the International Thespian Society (ITS), an honorary organization that has inducted more than 2.3 million theatre students since its founding in 1929. EdTA also publishes Dramatics, a monthly magazine for high school theatre students, and Teaching Theatre, a quarterly journal for theatre education professionals.
