Charlène Cantarero

Charlene Slapak Lambros, RN, MS, has over two decades of experience in healthcare and information technology. Currently serving as the KP HealthConnect Inpatient Application Coordinator at Kaiser Permanente Information Technology since April 2003, Charlene is recognized as a clinical documentation expert and leads care plan and patient bedside education initiatives. Prior to this role, Charlene worked as a Nursing Systems Analyst at John Muir Medical Center, where A4 Healthmatics ED was implemented in the emergency department. Earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Business Consultant for Kaiser Permanente IT, focusing on clinical concept modeling for Convergent Medical Terminology and SNOMED. Charlene began a nursing career as a staff nurse in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Nursing Informatics from the University of California, San Francisco, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Case Western Reserve University.
