Ostap Koziy has been working in the software engineering industry since 2012. In that time, they have held a variety of positions at multiple companies. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Junior Software Engineer and Software Engineering Trainee at EPAM Systems. In 2013, they joined SoftServe as a Software Engineer. In 2015, they worked as a Team Lead at Bazaarvoice and as a Senior Software Engineer at EPAM Systems. From 2016 to present, they have been working as a Lead Software Engineer at EduNav, leading a team of up to 6 people (4 dev, 2 QA) and responsible for developing a combinatorial optimization planning algorithm using symbolic computations and linear programming. Their responsibilities include feature development, feature design/documentation, bug fixing, code review, performance optimizations and various investigations.
Ostap Koziy obtained a Master of Computer Science degree in Automated Control Systems from Lviv Polytechnic National University between 2009 and 2015. Ostap also holds two certifications; MongoDB for Java Developers from MongoDB obtained in February 2017 and Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 7 Programmer from Oracle obtained in February 2015.
