Samantha Fletcher

Director of Inclusivity & Innovation at Eduscape

With nearly 20 years of experience in journalism, research, education, and DEI -- including much of that time in educator and parent roles -- Samantha is in many ways uniquely qualified to facilitate the equity and antiracism professional development workshops that she discovered are her passion. Between workshops, webinars, consulting, and keynote speaking, she has impacted thousands in transformational ways, and has become known for bringing a friendly, engaging approach to what some consider difficult conversations.

Her recent Harvard Graduate School of Education M.Ed. in Technology, Innovation, and Education sparked her idea to design workshops in the iterative manner with which she designed innovations -- causing her to incorporate current user-friendly technology, platforms, and digital tools for a multimodal interactive experience that engages all participants. This ability to differentiate between a range of learners and thinkers and to use an unusual, forward-thinking, storytelling approach gives her an innovative edge in shifting mindsets and puts her at the forefront of DEI PD.

Samantha was an Equity and Inclusion Fellow at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and only one of eight students selected as a Saul Zaentz Fellow for excellence in early education. She was also selected as the Keynote Speaker for the 2021 Harvard Black graduation ceremony. Samantha holds a BS in Communications and Sociology from Augusta State University, a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Maryland, and an Ed.M from the Harvard Graduate School of Education in Technology, Innovation, and Education.
