Brendan Keenan

Brendan Keenan serves as the Director of Social Emotional Learning at Fitchburg Public Schools since August 2023, following a distinguished career in academia and community health. Brendan has held multiple lecturer positions at Assumption University and Northeastern University, focusing on graduate programs in school counseling, health advocacy, and undergraduate courses in human services and psychology. Additional roles include Assistant Professor at Worcester State University and lecturer at New England College for the Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership. Brendan has contributed to Edutopia as a blogger, served as a community health chief for the City of Worcester, and has been involved with peer review for the Urban Education Journal.
