Sazzad Nasir

Sazzad Nasir is a seasoned professional in artificial intelligence and machine learning, currently serving as the Director of AI at THIA since February 2024 and as a Senior AI Scientist at Eduworks Corporation since January 2021. With extensive expertise in generative AI and the development of large language models, Sazzad has trained GPT models from inception and fine-tuned advanced models for various natural language processing applications. Sazzad's work includes reinforcement learning from human feedback, prompt engineering, and the deployment of scalable LLMs on cloud platforms. In addition to roles at Eduworks, Sazzad has contributed as an Affiliated Scientist at Haskins Laboratories, focusing on communicative disorders and neural profiling, and served as a Faculty Member at Northwestern University, where significant research in neural pattern recognition and auditory perception was conducted. Sazzad holds a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics and a Master of Advanced Study from the University of Cambridge, complemented by a Bachelor of Science from the University of Dhaka.
