Nicolas Miller

Nicolas Miller has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the Founder & CEO of Edvisor.io, an online SaaS platform connecting schools and agencies for international student recruitment. Nicolas founded this company in 2014 and has led it to success, winning the 2015 BCIC New Ventures competition.

Prior to Edvisor.io, Nicolas worked in various fields. Nicolas was a Radiation Specialist at Health Canada from 2008 to 2010, where they coordinated radiation programs and led a team in responding to nuclear emergencies. Nicolas also served as a Research Associate at the Cancer Research Institute from 2004 to 2006, investigating breast cancer genetics and identifying a protein regulator of BRCA1 expression.

In addition, Nicolas founded Miovision Technologies in 2004, a company focused on intelligent solutions for global transportation networks. Nicolas served as a Founder until 2006, contributing to the development of innovative products and services for traffic management and safety.

Before their entrepreneurial endeavors, Nicolas worked as a Research Associate at Nordion in 2003, where they purified molybdenum-99 for medical procedures and delivered presentations on the purification process. Nicolas also held positions as a Web Developer at the National Research Council Canada in 2002 and as a Programmer at Nortel Networks from 1999 to 2000.
