Alton Popp

Alton Popp is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the cement industry. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Edw. C. Levy Co. since September 2008, Alton has previously held notable positions including Plant Manager at Holcim and St. Lawrence Cement, as well as Operations Manager and Production Manager roles at St. Lawrence Cement and St. Mary's Cement, respectively. Alton began a career in operations at Lonestar Industries and Norlite Corporation, contributing to production management and shift supervision. Alton holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, obtained between 1988 and 1993, and graduated from Johnstown High School in 1988.
