Dane Cannon

Dane Cannon has worked in various cybersecurity roles throughout their career. Dane is currently the Director of Cybersecurity at Edward Jones since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Travelers as a 2VP of Cybersecurity from February 2021 to March 2021, and as a Senior Director of Cybersecurity from October 2019 to February 2021. Before joining Travelers, Dane was the VP of Information Security at Wintrust Financial Corporation from March 2018 to October 2019. Dane also worked as a Solution Specialist at McKinsey & Company from 2017 to 2018, and as a Senior Associate in Cybersecurity & Privacy at PwC from 2011 to 2017.

Dane Cannon attended the Wisconsin School of Business from 2006 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting & Information Systems. In July 2019, they also obtained a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification from ISACA.
