Adam Hinds

Adam Hinds is the Chief Executive Officer at the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate since October 2022 and previously served as a State Senator in the Massachusetts State Senate from November 2016 to November 2022. Hinds has extensive experience with the United Nations, holding various Political Affairs Officer positions, including roles focused on the Syrian conflict and the Middle East Peace Process. Key achievements include providing political assistance to efforts to dismantle Syria's chemical weapons program and leading negotiations on disputed boundaries in northern Iraq. Prior to these roles, Hinds participated in national political campaigns, including positions for John Kerry and US Congressman John Olver. Hinds earned a MALD in International Law/Negotiation from The Fletcher School at Tufts University and a BA in Government and Sociology from Wesleyan University.
