Uzochukwu Adabanya M.D.

Uzochukwu Adabanya MD, MPH, currently serves as an Associate Professor for Anatomical Sciences and Medical Physiology at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine since July 2023. Previous experience includes roles as an Assistant Professor of Medical Education at Mercer University School of Medicine, an Educator at the Research Foundation of The City University of New York, and a Community Health Worker trainer at Queensborough Community College. Uzochukwu has also worked extensively in public health, including as an MPH fellow with the CDC Division of Global Health Protection, where contributions were made towards global health security and outbreak response. Uzochukwu's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from All Saints University School of Medicine and multiple master's degrees, including a Master of Public Health and an MBA from Walden University.
